Human Resource Manager

Design Materials, Inc. is an architecturally focused wholesale supplier of porcelain and ceramic tile, and natural stone.  The Company has an immediate opening for a Human Resource Manager in its Denver location. Responsibilities for this rewarding opportunity include:

• Participate with the President to implement a company wide strategic training program in association with employee's career mapping goals.
• Ensure company is compliant with all applicable HR laws including safety and fire regulations, workers compensation requirements, and unemployment compensation.
• Assist department managers in recruiting, pre-employment screening, interviewing and hiring in compliance with fair hiring practices, new employee orientation, performance improvement plans, and termination procedures.  Maintain employee personnel files.
• Responsible for company wide health benefit and 125 cafeteria programs, annual open enrollment and completion of insurance carrier audits.
• Assist CFO with salary guides, and administration of company's incentive compensation and sales commission programs.
• Cross train with Accounting Manager as back-up for payroll processing.

Qualifications for this position include:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources and 5-8 years experience required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills required.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Microsoft Outlook and Excel skills required.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
